UCF women’s basketball will play its first game in the Big 12 Tournament against the University of Kansas Wednesday at 8 p.m. in Kansas City at the T-Mobile Center. The Big 12 tournament begins on Wednesday with bottom-seed teams playing the opening round. UCF's Mediation Team builds bonds and skills for students downtown

Tears welled up in Kelly Strom's eyes as she acted as a movie star with lupus during one of UCF's Mediation Team tournaments last year. Strom, senior legal studies major, played the role of a client who was being defamed for using drugs when she was taking medication for her illness. She won that round of the tournament because of the act she pulled off, which she said was the most rewarding experience.
